The sketch board is a piece of plywood that was in the divers’ hut. The chief diver, Per Edvin Fälting, has drawn pictures on it inspired by the dives on the wreck. There is a picture of a diver in heavy gear giving a bunch of flowers to a mermaid, with Vasa in the background. The board has several dates and names written on it, where some people are pictured in portraits. Fälting has also drawn a self-portrait.
