The Vasa Museum has a diving bell that you can stand inside.
A diving bell has a pocket of air at the top. This allows the diver to breathe without using oxygen tubes like the ones divers use today. A diving bell would look like the ones pictured above.
The Vasa Museum has a diving bell that you can stand inside. You’ll find it at the far end of the museum, on the same floor as the entrance. Climb inside and imagine what it was like for the divers in the cold darkness at the bottom of the sea.
